The rules that shape every UpcomersX evaluation, condensed to one line per item.
Fee refund policy
The initial futures challenge fee is credited back directly to the trader's balance as a withdrawal bonus upon completing their third successful payout cycle without rule violations.
Why traders fail UpcomersX challenges
The most common failure causes are tied directly to UpcomersX's rule set — here are the ones to plan around before paying for an evaluation.
- 1
Breaching the relative equity drawdown
UpcomersX's drawdown is relative equity, which means the limit moves up as the account grows. Traders who size positions for the starting balance often blow through the limit after a profitable run-up.
Tip: Recalculate your max risk per trade against the current trailing limit, not the starting balance.
- 2
Failing the consistency rule
UpcomersX enforces a consistency rule (Features a mandatory "Best Day Rule" clause on funded accounts. A single calendar trading day's net gains cannot make up more than a specific percentage (typically 20% to 30%) of your overall withdrawal balance request). One outsized winning day can put the run offside even after the profit target is hit.
Tip: Spread profit across multiple sessions rather than doubling down once you're up. Smaller, repeatable winners clear the cap.
- 3
Running disallowed EAs or copy trading
UpcomersX restricts automation: The Upcomers X (DXtrade) terminal is optimized solely for manual execution. Standard automated Expert Advisors, scripts, or external bots cannot plug into the interface. Even a single forbidden bot trade can void the run.
Tip: Check the rule list before installing any tool that places trades for you. When unsure, trade manually until you've confirmed in writing.
- 4
Holding positions over the weekend
UpcomersX does not allow weekend exposure. A position that drifts past Friday's close can void the account regardless of P&L.
Tip: Set a hard alarm 30 minutes before your platform's weekly close — flatten everything before market shutdown.
Who UpcomersX fits
Good fit if you trade like this:
- News-event traders — no restrictions on trading high-impact releases.
- Traders who want funded capital without a multi-week evaluation — instant-funding tier is available.
Look elsewhere if any of these apply:
- Swing traders — all positions must be flat by Friday close.
- Algorithmic traders — EAs and automated systems are not allowed.
- High-variance traders relying on a single big day — the consistency rule will block the pass.
