The perps market is months old and the rules still move. These are the details that decide whether a cheap evaluation is actually a good one.
Most perps firms fill orders on their own engine against live prices. Propr discloses that most of its trades stay on its own book, and Vest's terms call funded accounts virtual. That is normal in prop trading, but it means the firm pays your profits, so its payout record is the thing to check.
Funding rates, swaps and commissions are charged on a funded account exactly as on a real one, and they eat into the daily loss and max drawdown. On a 3% max-loss account, holding leverage for days costs more than it looks.
HyroTrader pays at most 5% of the starting balance per request, Hypernova caps payouts at $10K of profit a day while in alpha, and MyFundedPerps has a lifetime payout cap. Read the payout terms, not only the split.
Kraken Prop is not available in Canada, India or the UK. Vest's exchange terms exclude the US and UK. Propr, MyFundedPerps and HyroTrader each block a different set of around 25 to 30 countries. Every list is on the firm's profile.
