What is this list?

Accepted Answer

Newer and lesser-known proprietary trading firms that we track but have not put through our full review process yet. They are not in the main directory, so they carry no TP Score and no trader reviews. We publish them early because traders are already searching for them and deserve a starting point.

How is this different from the main firm directory?

Accepted Answer

Every firm in the main directory has a verified rule set, challenge pricing that is re-checked nightly, and a TP Score built from moderated trader reviews. Firms on this page have none of that yet. Use the directory when you are ready to fund an account, and this page to keep an eye on what is new.

What do the votes mean?

Accepted Answer

They are a research signal, not a rating. Voting a firm up tells us traders want it evaluated, and voting it down tells us it is not worth our time yet. The list on this page is ordered by that signal, so the most requested firms sit at the top and get researched first. One vote per signed-in trader per firm, changeable at any time. Votes never become a TP Score and never affect the ranking of firms in the main directory.

Why can I comment but not review these firms?

A review carries a rating and feeds the firm's TP Score. Publishing one for a firm we have not verified would dress an unchecked brand up as a rated one. Comments let traders share first-hand experience without implying we have done work we have not. Reviews open once a firm is reviewed and moves into the main directory.

Question 5

How does a firm move into the main directory?

Accepted Answer

We document its evaluation rules, fee structure and payout terms, add its challenge catalogue to our nightly price checks, then open the profile to trader reviews. Firms with the most votes go first. Firms that want to speed that up can contact us. Reviews are free and we do not sell ratings or placement.
