Question 1

What does it mean for a prop firm to be powered by Bybit?

Accepted Answer

Bybit acts as the broker or liquidity provider sitting underneath the prop firm — the entity that actually routes orders to the underlying market and supplies the price feed you see. The prop firm is who you contract with; Bybit is the execution infrastructure. 2 firms tracked on TradingPilot route through Bybit.

Question 2

Why does the broker behind a prop firm matter?

Accepted Answer

Spread quality, fill speed, and slippage during news depend on the broker's liquidity. Two firms running on the same Bybit backend will usually feel similar in execution; firms on different brokers can feel materially different even at identical rule sets. That's why complaint patterns in reviews tend to cluster around firm-broker combinations rather than firms alone.

Question 3

Do all Bybit-powered prop firms have identical trading conditions?

Accepted Answer

Not exactly — the firm's own markup, execution model (A-book vs B-book), and any internalisation can introduce differences on top of the raw Bybit feed. But pair coverage, swap rates, and base spreads will be very close across firms running on the same broker, because that's set by Bybit not by the firm.

Question 4

Is Bybit regulated, and does that protect my funded account?

Accepted Answer

Check Bybit's own disclosures for jurisdiction and license status. Even where the broker is regulated, your contract is with the prop firm — broker-level protections (segregated funds, dispute escalation) cover the trading mechanics, not your evaluation fee or payout. Funded-account protection is whatever the prop firm has put in writing.
