Question 1

Can traders from Timor-Leste (East Timor) actually pass evaluations and get paid?

Accepted Answer

Yes — the 63 firms on this page all accept traders from Timor-Leste (East Timor) for both the evaluation and the funded account. KYC and payout flows have been tested across countless Timor-Leste (East Timor)-based traders. Firms that quietly block Timor-Leste (East Timor) payouts despite advertising support don't make this list.

Question 2

Are there extra KYC or proof-of-residence requirements for Timor-Leste (East Timor) traders?

Accepted Answer

Standard KYC (government ID and proof of address) applies everywhere. A handful of firms ask Timor-Leste (East Timor) traders for a second residency document at the payout stage — this is driven by the firm's banking partner rather than Timor-Leste (East Timor) itself, so the requirement varies firm to firm.

Question 3

Which payout methods work best for Timor-Leste (East Timor) traders?

Accepted Answer

Crypto stablecoins (USDT, USDC) and international bank wire are the most reliable rails for Timor-Leste (East Timor) traders across the firms in this list. PayPal, Wise, and Skrill availability varies — see the payout-methods directory on TradingPilot for the firm-by-firm breakdown.

Question 4

Why might a firm restrict Timor-Leste (East Timor) later, even though they accept it now?

Accepted Answer

Restrictions usually trace back to the firm's banking or processor relationships, not the trader. If a payment processor pulls Timor-Leste (East Timor) support, the firm has to add it to the restricted list mid-stream. It's uncommon but happens — that's why we cross-list every country on both the supported and restricted directories.
